Dear Ivan,
I'd like to thank you for a very professional service related to the delivery of my newly purchased yacht from Ireland to my mooring in The Helford. It was particularly helpful when you liased with the previous owner - this took a lot of pressure out of the situation.
I've previously used a 'professional' delivery skipper  to deliver a boat from Corsica to Falmouth. That proved to be chaotic with a total lack of proper communication from the skipper, prior to, during and after delivery. To add to this, there were unresolved disputes over various unscheduled 'expense's and other costs.
Your pre-delivery emails and phone calls made it absolutely clear what charges were likely to be incurred and your written agreement clear and unambiguous. I found your brief report on the engine, sail condition and electronics (what worked and what didn't) mailed to me after delivery, of real value. Your overall charges represented real value.
You took a lot of time and trouble 'to get it right', from the time I contacted you. This was very reassuring, particularly as I bought the boat 'unseen' from photographs on the 'net' and a survey report.
If the need arise again, I wouldn't hesitate to use your services.
I'm happy for you to refer prospective clients to me for a reference.
